I am the first to admit that I love snacking! But, of course, it’s important to find healthy and healthy-ish options so that you’re not just eating empty calories all day when your body is actually telling you that it’s hungry. Here are my latest go-to snacks, in no particular order :)
What are some of YOUR favorite snacks?
Mozzarella cheese sticks: My latest favorite. These are great because they travel well (with the plastic packaging) and they always curb my cheese cravings!
Trader Joe’s PB&J Bar: These are also perfect for on-the-go snacking and I love the strawberry jelly. #YUM.
Flavored almonds: Almonds aren’t always as boring as they sound- I usually end up buying really fun flavors like Wasabi & Soy Sauce. How yummy does that sound? And, even better, you can make your OWN flavored almonds- I love this recipe and this recipe.
Trader Joe’s Milk Chocolate Crisps: When you’re craving chocolate these are PERFECT. They’re super thin and basically taste like a chocolate potato chip.
Kale chips: You can buy the pre-packaged ones (they have them at most grocery stores!) or you can make your own like I do. Oh She Glows has some great tips on how to make them flawlessly because, admittedly, I messed these up the first time I tried to make them!
