Whether you are headed to the beach, to lay by the pool or going on a tropical vacation, you always want to make sure you have your beach bag packed and ready to go. I’ve made my fair share of mistakes on a beach trip and forgotten some essentials and there is nothing more annoying than having to run back up to your hotel room, back to the car, or just having to stay at the beach without sunblock. To make sure you guys are always prepared, I wanted to create a list of the things to always remember to make your sunny days a little more enjoyable. Here are the top 5 essentials you need to pack for any trip or fun in the sun!
1. Beach Bag
It’s always important to bring a good beach bag. I prefer using ones that have a zipper to make sure nothing falls out along the way!
2. Sunscreen Pouch
Sunblock can get messy, especially when you are traveling, so it’s always a good idea to keep your sunblock in a separate little pouch just in case there is any spillage. If it does happen, at least it will be contained.
3. Sun Glasses
I am a huge fan of sunglasses so sometimes I will bring two pairs on a beach vacation, just to mix it up. After all, we always like to look cute in our sunnies for those fun beach pics! I always like to make sure I have a good sturdy pair that I can push back into my hair that I don’t mind getting a little salt water on, too.
4. Sun Protector
I know I sound crazy, but keeping your skin protected while you are out in the sun is so important. I make sure to put on sunblock and always wear a hat, and make sure to reapply as the day goes on. I was just talking about about all the top sunscreens I use for those nice summer days, but it’s also super important to remember to keep your lips protected, too. There is nothing worse than chapped or burned lips so make sure you pack something to keep your lips nice and hydrated. For those of you who color your hair, its also super important to bring a good oil or product you can put through out your hair to make the sun, chlorine and salt water damage a little less intense.
I always hate having to put my clothes back on — especially when I am in a wet bikini! Bringing a coverup or easy and quick change of clothes is always a must. Make sure its something you don’t mind getting sandy or wet!
